Project 12M meeting

InFact 12M consortium meeting was held in Graz, Austria and hosted by  BOKU and Qualizyme. The agenda included the technical meeting and the internala training workshop:

1. Colorimetric detection of the wound infection enzymes

During internal workshop the overview of the principles of inflammation markers’ substrates selection were done for: MPO (Prof. Tzanko Tzanov, UPC), Lysozyme (Gregor Tegl, BOKU) and Elastase (Ana Ferreira, TEC)

2. Development of the wound infection diagnostic materials

The scientific basis and project’s goals of sonochemical immobilization of InFact substrates on various surfaces were presented by Dr. Ilana Perelshtein (BIU).

Mr. Michael Burnet (SYN) provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges in smart would dressing’s development including: •design of the detection window, •selection and application of substrates, •specificity and sensitivity of the inflammation recognition in would fluids.

InFact 6M consortium meeting was hosted by TECHMINO partner at Braga, Portugal. The agenda included the review of work done over the last period, open discussions and the elaboration of the plans for the next 6 months and anticipated deliverables.
